After 20 successful years in the restaurant industry, owner of Dragon City, Nicholas, Lai has a new venture brewing - Spring Roll restaurant.

The commercial district in New Kingston and the wider Corporate Area will now get a feel of not only Chinese, but Japanese and Thai all at one location. Located along Knutsford Boulevard, Spring Roll is slated to be opened next month.

In an exclusive preview with Lai told The Gleaner it was a new type of restaurant. There will be four chefs coming in from China, and from experience, Lai knows Jamaicans love Japanese cuisine. And Thai food? "It's spicy and sweet so Jamaicans will like it because they like spicy food."

So get ready for this Asian invasion.

This yummy slice of strawberry cheesecake can be had at Dragon City Restaurant even after the just concluded Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.
