The Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week celebration came to an end at Prendy's South Avenue in fine style, leaving patrons licking their fingers.
It was an occasion that saw the flexibility of seafood in full flight as scores of diners flocked the establishment to feast on the treats at hand.
"This is very tasty and that is why we are here to deal with the issue in the proper way, it is the time to eat our favourite dishes offered here," Martin Breakenridge said between bites of his steamed fish.
Wide variety
Others who spoke told Food they thoroughly enjoyed the food and they couldn't wait for next year to dine on the wide variety that's available.
Among the popular choices were lobster dishes, either grilled, curried or garlic flavoured. There were those who came out for the ever-popular steamed fish; others dealt a blow to the fried, baked, escoveitch and brown-stewed fish.
Operator of the business, Donnette Prendergast, said the week was a good one for Prendy's as it helped to continue the growth of the business.
"It has been a wonderful week for us, many persons became a part of the Prendy's family, we also showcased a number of new items and the patrons loved it," Prendergast said.
