Police, family and friends are still wondering how it could have happened.

When Alton Davis took his 10-year-old daughter Annaleise to school two days ago, he never thought it was possible for her to go missing - especially since he was supposed to pick her up later.

Yesterday, the Duhaney Park Primary School was awash with emotion as angry parents wanted answers.

Though distraught, Davis offered words of reassurance to the group of irate parents who were pushing to have their pound of flesh from teachers and administrative staff.

An obviously saddened Vincent Campbell, principal, said, "We hope that the situation will calm down and sanity and rationality will prevail."

In extending regret, the principal noted that his sympathy would not suffice at this time.

According to Campbell, the security procedures at the school were good, an opinion which makes the disappearance of the 10-year-old all the more mysterious.

Meanwhile, father and mother, Denise Walker, are weeping and mourning over the disappearance of their only child.

Detectives of the Duhaney Park Police Station continue to put the pieces together but it is still uncertain how the child went missing.
